THE MODERN CHURCH TRACK:

Within the Master of Ministry (MMin) program, this track equips students to lead faithfully and effectively within structured, institutional church settings.

Built upon the full biblical curriculum of the MA in Biblical Studies, the MMin ensures that every ministry course is grounded in rigorous scriptural study. From this foundation, students explore the theological rationale, historical development, and practical execution of modern church life.

Courses in this track address leadership and administration, preaching and worship design, discipleship systems, and cultural outreach—all tailored to the realities of contemporary congregations. Students engage with proven ministry models while developing strategic, reproducible frameworks for local church leadership.

This track is ideal for those preparing to serve as pastors, ministry directors, or church planters within traditional ecclesial structures. It affirms the enduring value of the institutional church while equipping leaders to adapt with clarity, conviction, and theological integrity.

GRADUATE STUDIES

Graduate work in the School of Biblical, Theological, and Ministerial Studies at Aidan University is designed to equip students with both theological depth and vocational clarity through two distinct academic pathways.

The Master of Arts in Biblical Studies offers a rigorous foundation in biblical interpretation and theological coherence, providing essential preparation for ministry leaders who may or may not later specialize through the Master of Ministry program.

Parallel to this, the Master of Arts in Biblical Theology offers advanced training in canonical synthesis and doctrinal development, laying the foundation for further scholarly engagement in the Th.M. in Biblical Theology.

A graduate degree from Aidan enables students to serve as pastors, teachers, ministry directors, and theological leaders—bringing clarity, conviction, and spiritual maturity to the church and its mission.

GRADUATE PREREQUISITE POLICY

Graduate Foundation Series

Students entering the Aidan University Graduate Program who have not completed the undergraduate Foundation Series will be required to take the following three graduate-level preparatory courses that will provide a vital foundation—academically, theologically, and spiritually—upon which the graduate experience is built.

FS501 – Introduction to Study at Aidan University: Learning with Formation (Graduate Level)
FS502 – Graduate Foundations in Scripture and Theology: Reading, Reflecting, and Reigning
FS503 – Graduate Foundations in Church and Ministry: Legacy, Vocation, and Faithful Presence
Basic Bible Knowledge Exam

All graduate candidates are required to take a Basic Bible Knowledge Exam. A minimum score of 80% is required on both the Old Testament and New Testament sections. Candidates who do not meet this threshold must complete the corresponding Bible survey course for the section they did not pass. This course will be considered remedial and will not count toward the total units required for the graduate degree.
